Step 1: Determine if your child has any Reserve and/or Champ times. If you need help with this you can ask Coach Kristi, Coach Katie, or Debra Tomerlin. (See phone numbers at bottom) If your child does not have a Reserve or Champ time for an event and is 12 years of age or younger he/she is eligible to swim that event in the Novice Meet. Children 13 years old or older automatically qualify for the event in the Reserve Meet if they do not have a Champ time in the event. |
Step 2: Each child can swim a Maximum of 3 events throughout the series. For example: If your child has 3 Champ times and he/she wants to swim those 3 events in the Champ meet he/she may not swim in the Novice or Reserve meet. For example: If your child has 2 Reserve times and 2 Champ times he/she must choose only 1 event to swim in the Reserve Meet if he/she wants to swim the other 2 in the Champ Meet. If he/she swims the event at the Reserve Meet and qualifies for the Champ Meet in that event he/she will automatically be entered in that event at the Champ Meet. (You can always decline to be entered if you choose.) For example: If your child has 2 Novice and 2 Reserve times he/she must choose either to swim 1 event in the Novice and 2 in the Reserve OR 2 at the Novice and 1 at the Reserve. Again, if they swim an event at the Novice and qualify for the Reserve or Champ meet in the event they will automatically be entered in the event. (You can always decline to be entered if you choose.) |
| Step3: Once you have decided which events your child is going to swim in which meet you need to fill out the Championship Series Signup Form (pdf) and turn it into Coach Kristi, Coach Katie, or Debra Tomerlin. |

Champ Series Information Last Chance Meet will be held on Monday, June 23rd. If you would like to participate in this meet you must do on deck entries. They will accept on deck entries between 4:00pm – 5:15pm. The cost will be $5.00 per event. Checks should be made out to North Channel Aquatics. No entries will be accepted after 5:15pm. Warm-ups will be from 5:00pm – 6:20pm. If you participate in this meet and make a reserve or champ time it is your responsibility to get in touch with one of the Coaches or Debra Tomerlin to let them know if you want to swim in the Champ Series. The form to fill out is on our web site at friendswoodswim.org. Complete Last Chance Meet invitation can be found on the ccslswim.org website. Champ Series Information, Reserve Meet: June 28th, 1:15pm Champ Meet: June 29th, 8:15am If your child is participating in this series you will be asked to volunteer. We will have to provide timers and runners. The team is also responsible for getting there swimmers to the ready area on time. Remember we will be sitting out doors this year. Come prepared!
